My name is Paul Russell, I am the owner and Operator of Carp Fishing New York and an Official American Carp Society Guide.  I have been Carp Fishing since the early 2000s but have been freshwater and saltwater fishing since I was 5.

Over the years I have had many accomplishments with my Carp Fishing
- I wrote an article for The Angler, Upstate New York Edition (March 28, 2017)

- I was featured in On The Water TV show; Giant Brown Trout and Carp along the Historic Erie Canal | S18 E10

- I have been tournament fishing for Carp in many local tournaments, coming close to winning multiple times; in 2019 winning the coveted Wild Carp Classic with my team Fishin' Impossible with Joe Rinaldo and Tamas Vegvari

- I was the Tournament Director of The Wild Carp Classic and The Ed French Open since 2017 and also served as president of The Wild Carp Club of CNY with my wife Ginny Russell until 2022.

- In 2023 I became the East Coast Tournament Director with my wife Ginny Russell for American Carp Society.  Together we will continue to to run The Wild Carp Classic and The Ed French Open
